Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dave Binetti and the Dave 4 West Ada campaign ("the Campaign," "we," "us") collect, use, and share information when you visit dave4westada.com, contact us, or sign up to support or receive updates from the Campaign.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. If you contact us, volunteer, donate, request a yard sign, or sign up for updates, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and any message or other information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, standard technical information may be collected, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring website. This may be collected through server logs or similar technologies.

Information from public sources. Like most campaigns, we may use publicly available information, such as voter registration records made available under Idaho law, to communicate with voters.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Communicate with you about the Campaign, school board issues, events, and election information
  • Respond to your questions and messages
  • Organize volunteers and events
  • Ask for your support, including votes, volunteer time, and contributions
  • Maintain records required by campaign finance laws
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website

Text Messages and Phone Calls

If you provide us with your mobile phone number, you may receive text messages from the Campaign. When you opt in, for example by submitting a form on this website that includes our text-message consent statement, by texting a keyword to a Campaign number, or by agreeing in writing, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Dave 4 West Ada about campaign news, events, volunteer opportunities, election reminders, and requests for support. These messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. Our full text messaging program details are in our Terms of Service.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply HELP for help. We will also honor any other reasonable request to stop, such as replying "quit," "end," "cancel," "unsubscribe," or "opt out," or telling us by phone or email.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase, donation, or service.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third party. We may share your phone number only with service providers, such as our text-messaging platform, that process messages on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

We may also call you using the number you provided, including with automated or prerecorded calls and artificial or AI-generated voices, if you have consented to receive them. To stop calls, tell us you do not wish to be contacted and we will honor your request.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We never share text-message opt-in data or phone numbers collected for texting with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may otherwise share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Campaign, such as text-messaging, email, website hosting, donation processing, and volunteer-management tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • As required by law, including campaign finance reporting. Contributor information (such as name, address, occupation, and employer for contributions over certain amounts) may become public record.
  • To protect rights and safety, or to respond to legal process or government requests.
  • In a transition, such as if the Campaign merges its records with a successor campaign or committee.
